I've been growing organic vegetables and flowers for almost 20 years.

I've been a BIG fan of the Compost Farm's compost for five growing seasons.
I used the compost exclusively for four of those growing seasons to restore
biodiversity in the soil at the farm for whom I worked. In those four
growing seasons, we grew record amounts of vegetables, winning awards three
seasons in a row for vegetables and cut flowers. The biodiversity of
beneficial insects grew 30% in my tenure at that farm. Compost Farm's
compost was an integral part of that success.

Presently, I am using the Compost Farm's compost at my home in my own raised
beds and gardens.

Between my grandparent's generation and mine, we have lost the knowledge
and ability to grow our own food. Because of the present economic times,
many people are trying to grow their own vegetables, which is a wonderful
trend. Yet, this is the worst year possible for people to try to begin this
process. Trial and error is a tough, discouraging teacher. We've been blessed
with over 10 inches of rain, which has helped ease the drought we've
experienced over the past 10 years, but it has been very hard on plants.
Most folks going into this project have limited knowledge and high
expectations for growing food. This can lead to discouragement and giving up.
But please, don't give up!

Robin's Remedies for Landscape and Garden is a consultative service
that I began in order to fulfill a need for garden planning, training and diagnosing problems.
With almost 20 years experience of organic gardening, a vast knowledge of
companion planting, and the ability to produce a lot of food on a small amount
of ground, I am the best choice for consultative services.
The consultation price is $45. I can be reached at:
